“Yamuna Body Rolling®” with Melora Gregory Sunday October 17th 4:00-6:00 pm.
Yamuna Body Rolling® is a unique approach to health and fitness that helps people feel better, move more freely, gain strength, and eliminate pain. Specially designed balls will; increase muscle length, create joint mobility, promote healing of injuries, tone muscles, energize nerve roots and vital organs, dislodge tension and discomfort, enhance blood flow, and stimulate bone. An ideal practice for everyone, at all fitness levels, for dramatic and immediate results. Carefully planned routines match the body's own logic and order to re-educate one's innate body awareness.

In preparation for the holiday season, come home to your inner world. Emphasizing stillness in form, this practice will utilize long holds in postures practiced on the floor as a way of stimulating joints, connective tissues and meridians (energy lines). We'll also incorporate some soft, fluid standing posture flows to energize and focus the body and mind. A great balance for an active yoga practice or an active lifestyle
“Transitioning to Winter” with Kara Douglas Saturday December 11 9:00-11:30 am
As the seasons change, our bodies and minds benefit from adapting our practices. We will use breathing techniques and posture sequences to warm and energize you, stimulate your joints, emphasize the organs that can support health and immunity in Winter and end with deep yogic rest. All practitioners welcome; modifications will be offered.
